Oreo x Star Wars
Oreo and Lucasfilm partnered with our team to create an exciting collaboration for their latest release: Oreo x Star Wars. The special-edition packs featured custom cookies inspired by both the Light Side and Dark Side of the Force. Our team at Dentsu worked closely with Greg Hildebrandt, the legendary artist behind the original Star Wars poster from 1977, to bring the designs to life. Greg brought our concepts to fruition by illustrating iconic Star Wars characters for the front of the packaging.
We expanded on the core packs by designing a series of exclusive satellite packs for retail, ensuring the collaboration had wide appeal. Additionally, we developed Key Visuals showcasing the unique designs of the packs and cookies to enhance the campaign's reach across various platforms. I had the privilege of contributing to every aspect of this project, from concept to execution.
The collaboration generated significant buzz and was featured in top outlets like HypeBeast, Collider, Food & Wine, and People. It also made its way onto The Tonight Show with Seth Meyers, and Mark Hamill himself even joined the excitement by tweeting about it.
